An increasing number of structured initiatives are emerging that offer comprehensive support to patients throughout their cancer journey. One such charity is Maggie’s. Close to oncology centers, they deliver professional integrated support, with an evidence-based programme that helps people with cancer and those who love them to deal with the psychological, practical and financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. With 24 centers located across the UK and 3 worldwide, Maggie’s has developed considerable expertise in supporting people with cancer and their families over the past 25 years.
