Miami Baptist Health Cancer Care on a visit to Maggie’s West London

We are delighted to share that Oncia Community recently had the pleasure of accompanying Vicki Caraway, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Miami Cancer Institute and Miami Baptist Health Cancer Care, on a visit to Maggie’s West London.

This initiative aimed at bringing the community together and introducing them to the supportive environment of Maggie’s. During this special outing, Vicki had the opportunity to discover the unique and compassionate atmosphere that Maggie’s provides for individuals facing cancer.

“It was so great being at Maggie’s London. It feels like a warm hug when you walk in that you know even when the hug is over that you will be held and loved. My hope is that we can one day re-create that here.”
